Thank You

When I started collecting one million cans I thought this was going to be easy. I have learned this is a very big project. For me to collect one million empty aluminum cans I am going to need a lot of help.

I am going to use this part of my website to say "Thank You!" to the people who are helping me and to share some of the things people have done for me.

I would like to thank the students at Wake Forest University who donated their cans and ideas to my business. You guys are great!

I would like to say thank you to Victoria and the waitress at The Hillbilly Cafe in Richmond, Missouri, for donating the bag of cans. I want to meet you some day to tell you "Thank you" in person.

I want to thank my sister Dominique for helping my dad pick up cans.

I would like to thank my neighbor. His name is Harry. He gave me 553 cans.

I would like to thank Michelle for mailing me my first can from North Carolina.

I would like to thank Tina, Tanner, Julien and Jansen for mailing me my first can!

I would like to personally Thank the Mayor of Greenwood, Mayor Decourcy and the aldermen: Sara Ring, Jim Payne and James VanAcker, for my Gold Key to the city and your wonderful support. Cliff McDonald and the city workers for making the pole shine Night and Day. The gold ball on top of the flagpole became a special project of the city worker and it looks Awesome. The office ladies at The City Hall, put on the most fantastic table spread of goodies and drinks the day of the flagpole dedication. Also, to my principal Mrs. Rogers and my teacher Mr.Boedeker for allowing my class to attend the ceremony, you were all a great support for me. A special thank you to the Veterans that attended and for donating the flag to the city, you all made that day very special. To our friends and the citizens of Greenwood that attended that day, thank you for being there. And State Representative Jeff Grisamore we have so enjoyed meeting you and you definitely made receiving the Resolution from the Missouri State House of Representatives special and the set of flags for both me and a set for the City from Govenor Nixon, we have both flags on our pole now and they are beautiful.

W.C. Vance you are awesome. Thank you, to you and your family for coming over to share my moment at The City Hall and the part of my dream of funding my own college fund with the schlorship from UMKC. Also thank whoever was involved with making that happen for me, I hope you are there when I decide to go to college in the future. This all could not have happened for me if you had not been willing to part with the flagpole. Thank You.
